It has been a while
Wow
It has been a while since I have been here. So busy. Sometimes I think that is the way the enemy keeps you from the work the Lord has for you. Busy work all the time.
I am getting ready for the Major League Baseball Outreach! This Saturday, the Rangers, next Saturday, the Frisco Rough Riders, the following week, the Arkansas Travelers! I have my tracts ordered, just waiting to receive them.
My mom is going to go with me to the Arkansas Travelers game. I am so excited and pleased that she is even willing to go out with me and step outside of her box, it is hard to step outside of that box!
Well, I have been tracting all over town. I love to drop them in the beer boxes at WalMart! Thank you Carl for that idea. Bobby said he had a response from someone that found one of his tracts in his case of beer he bought at WalMart. That is encouraging to know that they are found, read and even responding to the tract. Bobby was able to share the Gospel with him!
I set out to share at least 100 tracts a week just after the Super Bowl Outreach. I made that goal several times. Unfortunately that small thing called life got in the way and I have not been successful at getting those tracts out each week. I have tracted about 50 today at WalMart & Sams. It is good to put the tracts in the beer but today it struck me that the people who drink Cokes need the Gospel as well. ;-/
I am still praying for the courage and opportunity to finally speak to someone I have handed a tract, maybe this Major League Outreach will have just that opportunity.
My question is this, will you pray for the outreach? All of the outreaches that will be happening across the country, all because one man decided to take a step of faith and put this outreach in the hands of the Lord, trusting that He would provide a team for each Major League city. Not only did the Lord provide for each of the 30 cities, He has also provide for some of the Minor League cities!! How amazing is our God! All because one man answered a call.
What is the Lord calling out to you to do? Does it seem so huge that there is no way it could ever happen? How exciting will it be when it actually does come to pass!! How amazing is our God!!
