The Everyday Club Report For The Month Of January

Hi Club Members.

How was your January? We pray that you had a great time in evangelism for the first month of this new year. People still need to hear the Gospel in 2014. Jesus said in John 4:35 – “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”
The soul-winner has his or her eyes always open toward the harvest field, looking for opportunities to witness about our great salvation and Wonderful Savior! How did you do this month in your goals and commitment? Please leave your report in the comment section below. God bless your efforts for February!

Using The “On A Scale Of 0 to 10….” Tract

I’ve been having a great time using this tract. It gets a response! Ronnie wouldn’t take it at Walmart yesterday until after we had a coversation. He said that we can’t know where we are going and then pulled out the “hypocrites in the church” card. I’m glad that he took the tract when we parted. Two people have said “I’m not sure.” and just walked away. Maybe God has been dealing with them. Christopher told me “5” after I asked him the question. While I was waiting for my wife after work this evening, I walked to the NowSave. I asked Mac the question while I gave him the tract and while he was putting beer in a cooler. He said 7. His friend, Sham, said the same. I asked them to read the tract when they could. I gave Tavarus one at the gas pumps. He said “I know that I need to get right!”.
I’m glad that I can say “10”, but there are so many that can’t. Let’s keep on working so that they can!

As You Travel

When traveling it is a great opportunity to hand out some tracts. Here are some places I’ve given them out the last couple days:

  • cashier at gas station when getting a cup of coffee
  • in the credit card slot at the gas pump
  • let tracts on the tables around the hotel
  • stuck tracts in magazines in the hotel lobby
  • gave tracts to each hotel employee I met. Had several conversations
  • Shared tracts with the guys at the other side of the gas pump island while filling up with gas

A Tract For Valentine’s Day

Love is in the air!!! It’s God’s love! He still loves the world and wants the lost to be found! The Can You Name Ten of The Most Popular Valentine’sDay Gifts is part of the February supply of tracts in the Bezeugen Tract club. It was created for the tract club in 2010. It leverages the concept of naming ten things and then has a segway to the Ten Commandments.
What a great time to get people thinking about the greatest love of all!
John 5:13 says: Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Tips in using this tract:
– I placed the ones in the photos on displays in two stores. They fit right in with the color!
– It may seem odd for a man telling another man “Happy Valentine’s Day!”, so I’m going to ask “Did you get your Valentines Day Gospel tract yet?” Same for a man telling a woman or a woman telling a man. It would be a great opportunity to give a person one of these whole the yard looking at the gifts. Happy Gospel tracting!

Business reply envelopes

When we get our mail we sort it into four stack:

1) junk
2) shred
3) business reply envelopes
4) the stuff we actually need

Sadly, that last stack is normally the smallest.

The stack of business reply envelopes is useful. We use them to mail tracts. I usually put two tracts in each envelope. Sometimes I’ll put one English and one spanish. Sometimes I’ll put one million dollar bill tract and one business card tract. regardless, these envelopes are a nice way to get the Gospel out.

Just put the tracts in the envelope, seal it, and put it in the mailbox!!

Tract Displays

I now leave tracts on a regular basis at 3 laundry mats and 1 convenience store. These tracts are being taken. I restock the “Get Out Of Hell Free” tract the most at one laundry mat. I am planning to leave displays in more places. The business card holder in the picture was bought at Office Depot for about $3.75. Tracts still work when you are not around!

New Tract Holders

I bought new tract holders at The Dollar General on Saturday. The phone case was on sale for half price. It holds about 35 tracts. The tags on these door hangers said that they were door knob organizers, but I’m pretty sure that they are tract holders!
