Dallas Children’s Parade

On Saturday, four of us attended the Dallas Children’s Parade to hand out Gospel tracts and witness with people one on one. This was my fifth consecutive year to attend this parade – which is one of the (if not the) largest events in Dallas. Each year some 400,000+ people attend. This year the attendance might have been a little less since the forecast was for rain. The worker at the DART told me they were expecting 350,000.

Fortunately, the rain held off until after the parade. We handed out over 3,500 Gospel tracts in the two hours leading up to the parade. Lord willing, we will do it again next year!

It is interesting to look back. Here are the reports from 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
