Cotton Bowl outreach

On January 2, 2010 the Cotton Bowl game was played at the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. This was the first Cotton Bowl played away from the actual Cotton Bowl stadium at the Dallas Fair Grounds. There were at least ten of us (including three from Lost Cause Ministries) there to open air preach, share the gospel and distribute gospel tracts. In all, we handed out over 4,000 gospel tracts!

Unfortunately, we did not get a picture of the whole group. But this picture captures four of us!
I open air preached a couple of times. One of the times, I was preaching while Manuel was handing out Million Dollar Bill tracts nearby. I would ask people to make sure they got a Million Dollar Bill and consider the million dollar question. Many people took the millions.
The new Cowboys stadium is a really great place to witness. The Arlington police do an excellent job of crowd control. And they do not have any problem with the open air preaching. This is a fresh relief after dealing with the security and police in other surrounding cities (Dallas and Plano) that seem to not understand free speech laws. One officer asked, “what are you handing out?” I said, “gospel tracts!” “Cool”, came the response.

Manuel has posted his thoughts on the event on his BLOG. I expect that Jon will post an update on The Lost Cause Ministries BLOG as well.
