First Thursday Prayer February 2018

Since May 2010 we have been meeting on the First Thursday of each month to pray for our
Nation, Leaders and Revival.

This Thursday, February 1st, we will be hosting our First Thursday prayer meeting in Carrollton, TX. The Dallas location at HOBI International will meet on Friday, February 2nd due to a schedule conflict. If you can’t make either location please consider hosting a prayer meeting of your own at your office, or local city hall. You can even pray at home or on you own!

Each month we provide a suggested verse to guide your prayer time. This month we recommend the A.C.T.S. model of prayer using the following four verses which incorporates the National Day of Prayer theme verse:

O Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory above the heavens. (Psalm 8:1)

But David’s heart struck him after he had numbered the people. And David said to the Lord, “I have sinned greatly in what I have done. But now, O Lord, please take away the iniquity of your servant, for I have done very foolishly.” (2 Samuel 24:10)

I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well. (Psalm 139:14)

On God rests my salvation and my glory;
my mighty rock, my refuge is God.
Trust in him at all times, O people;
pour out your heart before him;
God is a refuge for us. Selah (Psalm 62:7-8}

In Carrollton, TX we meet at City Hall where we pray from noon to 12:30 in front of the flag poles. A few of us also meet at Quizno’s just south of City Hall at 11:30 for lunch. I hope you’ll join us. You can find the event on Eventbrite.

See you Thursday!
