Second run of t-shirts

Last month we made AfterLifeCatalog t-shirts. Several people wanted white shirts instead of black. So we have worked with the printer to re-work the images for black on white instead of white on black. Below is a picture of me wearing my shirt at an outreach in the park recently.

These shirts get lots of comments. On the front it says “Where will you spend eternity?” So hear is the deal. We are going to be placing another order for t-shirts. If you want one, please specify black or white, size, quantity and your mailing address. Send the information to me via the contact page. Each shirt is $15.

It's hard to read what it says on the back. The right side is too blurry. Can you type it out here?

  2. Bezeugen Ministries says:

Bridget the message on the back of the shirt comes from the main header of the http://www.AfterLifeCatalog.com web site and reads:

“In closing this memorial service, we commend the essence of our brother to whatever fate he may have pre-selected from our convenient afterlife catalog. He was always a private man and since he did not list his afterlife choice with his family or the church office we can only wish him the best, wherever he may be.” (Universalist Funeral Service)

Now you may be asking, "where did that come from?"

Well, actually it stemmed from a one on one conversation with a Universalist a few years ago. After this guy did not give a very satisfying answer to the questions about eternity, he told me that he "went to the Universalist church on the corner." So I emailed the pastor and told him about the conversation with his member and explained that I was concerned that his member did not know what happened in eternity, so I asked the Pastor the same question. He sent me three document including the text of a funeral service that he had recently performed. This quote is the opening line of that service.

Around the same time we had been praying about a web site for outreach so that the Bezeugen Ministries (www.bezeugen.org) web site could be focused on equipping the saints. The more I prayed about those two conversations the more it struck me that "After Life Catalog" was the outreach web site. The domain name was available and the rest, so to speak, is history!
