Dallas Mavericks vs Portland Trailblazers Outreach

Twenty Nine of us met in Dallas on February 7, 2015 to share the Gospel before the Dallas Mavericks game against the Portland Trailblazers. We had students from Gospel for Asia’s School of Discipleship, Jim Wolfe, his son and two men from his church in New Boston and Tom and Martha with Seed Sowers of Texas join us.

We handed out over 5000 Gospel tracts to the 20,398 people who attended the game. That means that one in four people attending the game received a Gospel tract. Given that people are there in groups it is possible that half the people heard the Gospel that night! Praise the Lord!

January 2015 First Thursday Prayer

The first Thursday of every month we gather for prayer for our nation, leaders and revival. This month since the first Thursday was on New Years Day, we postponed a week. So the January 2015 “First Thursday Prayer” will be Thursday, January 8th. You can join us in Carrollton or Dallas or host your own prayer meeting at your own City Hall or place of business.

Our suggested theme verse for prayer this month is Jeremiah  32:27

“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?”

Last minute Christmas Shopping

$50 – Print 20 copies of “The Truth May Impact Your Opinion”

$75 – Purchase a case of Bibles for distribution

$100 – Five Bezeugen Builders for one month (or five months for one builder)

$125 – Bookmark tracts for an outreach (like NCAA Championship game)

$200 – 1000 door hangers will be distributed

$240 – Sponsor a Bezeugen Builder for a year

$500 – Contribute to Mission Trip Fund to speak at churches around the United States

$1000 – Invest in the infrastructure of Bezeugen (like web site updates)

$1750 – One monthly tract club mailing (assumes 1000 members at time)

$2500 – Contribute to Mission Trip Fund to speak at churches around the United States

New Mission Statement

Bezeugen Ministries is pleased to announce that it has adopted a new mission statement mission statementthat is more streamlined and more in line with the work of the ministry. The new mission statement is:

Equip and encourage believers in Jesus to share the Gospel.

More information will be forthcoming about the the functions of the ministry in association with the new mission statement.

First Thursday Pray December 2014

Pray, Learn, Go – It’s the motto of our ministry. Join us the First Thursday of each month man in praiseas we pray for our nation, leaders and revival!

So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields. (Matthew 9:38)

If you are in Dallas or Carrollton (6:30AM or noon) you can join us at one of our existing locations. Or you can host your own prayer meeting at your city hall or place of business. If you’d like to add an event to our meetup group so that people can join you then please contact us!

The suggested verse for this months prayer time is 1 Corinthians 10:12-13.

12 Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall. 13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

The United States is the first country to set aside a national holiday to give thanks to God. thanksgivingWe as a nation have a lot to be thankful for living in a free country. As believers we even have more – salvation through Jesus Christ. When you couple the two together we have the freedom to share the gift of salvation with everyone we meet. Bezeugen Ministries exists to equip and encourage believers in Jesus to share the Gospel. We are thankful for all of you who partner with us through the tract club and outreaches to reach the lost with the Gospel. Legend of the Candy Cane bookmark now available

candy cane bookmark FrontThe December 2014 mailing of the Bezeugen Tract Club contained a new Legend of the Candy Cane bookmark which is a combination of the popular bookmark that we have been sending out for years coupled with the design and text from the Legend of the Candy Cane tract. Since the mailing went out a couple of weeks ago a number of people have contacted us about how to purchase more of these bookmarks. Many people are planning to use them at outreaches at colleges, malls and parades. Others just want to have more on hand to hand out at Christmas time. We are pleased to announce that these bookmarks as well as all of the Bezeugen Tracts are now available for purchase at One Million Tracts. Announcing $2,014 Matching Fund

Update: as of December 21stwe have received $1423 towards our matching goal of $2,014.

It has been an exciting year at Bezeugen Ministries. The tract club has continued to expandmatching fund to encourage and equip people to share the Gospel. We have developed a number of new Gospel tracts. We preached the Gospel at opening day at the Texas Rangers game. The door to door ministry has expanded to more than 50 cities. We held our first ConferReach in June. We took a mission trip and had speaking engagements in Texas, Missouri and Ohio. In October we participated in the State Fair of Texas outreach for the 4th consecutive year.

In 2015 we have some big plans as we seek to do what the Lord is leading. These plans include growing the tract club, expanding the door to do ministry and equipping more churches and believers to fulfill the great commission. One of our donors has offered a $2014 matching fund to help kick off the year with the funds needed to do this work. So, from now until the end of 2014 every dollar you donate to Bezeugen will be doubled … up to $2,014!
