Day 150709 – The Last Good American

Since the tract club mailing had nine Fourth of July themed tracts (7 – Are You A Good American and 2 – Patriotic Bookmarks) I decided to hand them all out at the beginning of the month to be as close to July 4th as possible. While on a walk during a break at the office I handed out the last Are You a Good American tract to someone I saw walking.

Day 150711: Bucket List

I love Saturday’s. Much more time to wander around, talk to people, give out some tracts and share the Gospel. Today was no 2015-07-11 18.02.56different. Went to the gas station – twice – and left tracts at the pump. Went to the store and gave a MyCard to the cashier.

The Bucket List tract from the July mailing of the Bezeuegn Tract Club went to the cashier at the restaurant where I ate dinner.

That restaurant also had a bulletin board where people put their business cards. So I had to leave MyCard there. See if you can find another tract that I left there previously in the picture!

Day 150708 – breakfast

Met a friend for breakfast at 6AM. The restaurant did not even look open when we arrived. We could see the cook prepping. We2015-07-08 07.08.50 were waiting outside. Then the waitress arrived and just walked over and opened the door. Funny! Since the sign said closed neither of us had even tried to open the door and go in! When the waitress seated us I gave her an Are You a Good America tract.

Also left a tract in the sugar dispenser!

Day 150707 – Sodapalooza

Walking from the car to the office this morning some workmen were backing up in their truck. I noticed one of the tail lights was out. So I got the drivers attention and then went over and told him. Then i gave him a MyCard which has the gospel on the back. He had two passengers so they each got one too!

Stopped and filled my Sodapalooza cup and gave an Are You a Good American tract to the cashier.

Day 150705: Bookmark at the Race Trac

We went to see the movie Faith of Our Fathers. Highly recommended by the way. And if you could take a friend that needs to hear they Gospel, they will hear it! At the theater I handed out a number of tracts to two cashiers, the ticket taker and the cashier at the snack bar. The ticket taker didn’t get the “joke” when I said “here is MyCard to get in” and handed him the new MyCard tract (coming soon to the Bezeugen Tract Club). I then handed him my actual tickets. And he handed the tract back with the stubs.

After the movie we refilled out @Sodapalooza cups at Race Trac and i handed a Patriotic Bookmark from the July mailing of the Bezeugen Tract Club to one of the other customers. The woman’s adult daughter was very appreciate as was the woman. I offered to go to the car to get another bookmark for the woman’s daughter, but she said that was not necessary.

Day 150704: Liberty by the Nebraska Furniture Mart

Our son was participating in Liberty by the Lake. But due to the rain and flooding the lake levels are too high and the race had to be moved to Nebraska Furniture Mart. I brought a stack of Patriotic Bookmarks to hand out. Before the race it was hard to hand out the tracts because the runners did not want something else to hang on to. So I only handed out a few to the spectators. However, after the race everyone took one and I handed out a few hundred of the bookmarks. I completed the #DailyTractChallenge more than a hundred times by saying “Happy 4th” or “Happy 4th of July” and handing people the bookmarks.

Day 150703: Bookmarks

July 3rd was the Independence Day Holiday observed here in America. I was off work. I started the day with breakfast with a friend. At the donut shop I was able out a number of tracts to other customers including a Are You a Good American tract from the July tract club mailing. The place is Christian owned and they have allowed us to have a “tract rack” there for a couple years now. So I also restocked the rack with tracts. I was showing my friend the new MyCard tract that will be in a future mailing of the Bezeugen Tract Club (enroll to get your MyCard tracts for free when they are in a future mailing). There were a couple teenagers who could here our discussion and thought it was funny. So I gave them each MyCard’s as we left.

We spent the day going to the peach farm and then to the local fireworks show. At the peach farm I gave out a number of Patriotic Bookmarks to employees and other customers.

At the fireworks I was able to distribute around 100 Patriotic Bookmarks even while we were just hanging out. Amazingly it took most of the day before finding someone with an American Flag on their hat to complete the #DailyTractChallenge.

Day 150702: Are You a Good American

I attended First Thursday Prayer in Carrollton, TX. While at the Flag Poles I was able to hand out a couple of tracts including an Are You a Good American from the July Tract Club mailing.

11249407_1115874948427572_9052368834673298870_nFor the month of July I intend to share the Gospel every day using one of the tracts from the July mailing of the Bezeugen Tract Club and complete as many of the tract challenges as possible. On this first of July, I had to go to an eye doctor appointment. The daily tract challenge was to give a tract to someone wearing a shirt with an American Flag on it. I figured a few days before the Holiday weekend how hard would that be to just walk into the eye doctors office and find somone. Nope! All the staff were dressed professionally, in scrubs, etc. Not a single one was wearing anything patriotic. None of the patients either.

Each person that helped me including the check in, tech, doctor and check out received a Thank You tract. As I left the office to go to work, a woman came down the hall wearing a red, white and blue shirt with a big star on it. So I completed the challenge by giving a Are You a Good American tract from the tract club mailing!

Coming Soon – Bezeugen Tract Club

After work I met my wife for dinner. I gave out several thank you cards to the staff that helped us. Then we were off to CostCo. I got to use the MyCard (coming soon to the Bezeugen Tract Club) as I had intended and designed it. Gave out five of them to people working at CostCo. Overall it is being well received!
