Day 150809: Redbox

We watched a Redbox movie last night. My wife took it back today. She put one of the Two Plus Two tracts into the disc carrier with movie and put it back into the machine.

We had to run an errand later in the day. When we stopped for gas I put several tracts into credit card slots of the gas pumps.

Day 150808: some math help

My wife, son and I went out for a snow cone treat! The cashier seemed like he was probably in high school. So I handed him a 2+1= tract and said, “here is some help for the school year.” He laughed and took it. I explained that the Gospel is on the back. He said he would read it.

Day 150807: at the Doctor

Whenever I go to the doctor I put tracts in the magazines in the lobby. It is easy to pick up one magazine, flip a few pages, put 2015-08-07 15.27.04a tract in the binding, close it, but the magazine down, pick up the next one and repeat. I must have put five tracts into magazines while I waited for the doctor.

I gave thank you tracts to the staff who helped out. The doctor asked me about my Bezeugen “as you go” wristband. So that was a great opportunity to pause, share the Gospel with him and then hand him a Thank You tract from the August mailing of the Bezeugen Tract Club as well.

Day 150806: First Thursday Prayer

Today was the First Thursday of the month, so I went to Carrollton City Hall to pray before2015-08-06 06.49.43 going to work. I used the Patriotic Bookmark and Psalm 33 as my guide for prayer. I had several extra bookmarks and was able to give them out to some people coming to work and coming to pay bills at city hall. The bookmarks were easy to hand out. I simply said, “here is a bookmark for you… it has some scripture on the back.”

I had intended to try a new breakfast place near city hall for breakfast after my prayer time. But, when I drove over to it, they were not open. I guess adding breakfast to their menu didn’t work out! So, I drove on towards work. Yet, I realized, I’d never make it to lunch without eating breakfast. So I stopped at Einstein Bagle and picked up a bagel sandwich. I gave thank you tracts (one from the mailing) to the person who took my order and the cashier who rang me up!
