The Everyday Report For July

Greetings Everyday Club Members,

We pray that July found you busy sharing your faith! There were many opportunities with the 4th of July celebrations and different festivals.

We have been having a great time with daily tract  challenges on the Bezeugen Tract Club Facebook page. Read about it here

What do you do when someone rejects a tract? It used to bother me! Not everyone will take one, though. I know that for every reject, there are about 50 others who will take a tract. Don’t get discouraged when this happens! It’s like fishing: keep on throwing out the line and eventually you will catch a fish! In this case, a soul!

Have a great August! Don’t forget to leave your report for July below this post on the blog!

All For Souls,
Scott

Had a decent month in July but I’m looking foward to going back to the weekly college campus outreach in Sept. I have the opportunity to hand out hundreds of tracts and have meaningful conversations as well!

I had a great month! Here are some of the highlights:
July 5 – We gave out around 1900 tracts at the fireworks display in Monroe, La. We also had several one on ones! I saw a few people that is knew. My 14 year old son came with us.
3 – The bass boat challenge – I gave one to Shawn at the Chevron
4 – I passed out several patriotic tracts at a few stores.
7 The sunglass challenge – I gave a tract to a man coming out of Walmart – John, Lionel (ManCard), Rafael, Juan
    8 – Two for Tuesday Facebook challange – 2 @ KFC drive-thru.
2 Spanish men @ Walmart and 2 tracts to my cousin.
7/14 – Darien took one from the headphone challenge – Shawn, Matthias, and Luis took a tract.
7/15 5 tracts in 2 min challenge – I met this one twice – Reuben and Noli, Demetrius , Dennis, and Tracey took tracts.
7/17 / The camo challenge – I gave a tract to a woman who was wearing camo, coming out of Walmart.
7/15 I gave out several tracts out @ Walmart after work, including 3 football players who said they were pro. Tracy and Dennis.took tracts, too.
7/18 – YOLO – I started asking people if they knew what yolo meant. Most everyone that I asked knew that it stands for “You Only Live Once.” This has a good conversation starter and a good way to give someone a tract. Look for the “What Happens After #YOLO? Tract in the Bezeugen Tract Club mailing for October.
22 – I gave a tract to Robert at the Walmart gas pumps. His van had his painting business name on it. – New Life. I asked him if it was spiritual, but he said that the paint would give new life to the old. We had a great conversation. His mother was about to pass away.
24 – I had jail service this evening. I took about 60 – 70 tracts in. The men always take them. I encouraged a man named Bruce.

The month of July was a good one! Yes I missed some days of getting a gospel tract out within the month, but I did several open-air preachings!! August is already starting off good!!
