TheEveryday Club Report – May, 2015

Greetings Club Members,

April has come and gone. We pray that you had a great month of sharing your faith. With the weather warming up, there more opportunities to give out tracts, open air preach, and have one on ones.
The new Camo Card tract arrived in the May tract club mailing. On the front reads the question “Can you hide from God?” This is a good tract to use to start a conversation. When giving this one out, we have asked “Have you got your Camo card ?” I like giving it to people who are wearing camouflage.
The Texas Rangers Outreach takes place on May 2. Students from the Gospel For Asia school and several others will be joining us to share gospel to those who are going to the game.
Please leave your report on how your month went below the post on the blog. We pray that you have a great May!
All For Souls,
Scott

I had a great month. I’ve been using the new Camo Card tract. I had several conversations. One man approached me one day while I was getting gas, asking me for money. I gave him a tract, a 5 dollar bill, and took him through a few commandments. He said that he would go to hell. We planned on going to a country concert on April 24 at ULM, but it had been raining for most of the evening. It quit before the concert ended, but we got there after it let out. We were able to get 20 tracts out, though. May has started off great!

I think I shared the Gospel in some way pretty much every day. Some days due to my schedule I don’t really come in contact people that I can witness to. That happens if I get up, drive to work, work, then drive home. But on some of those days I was able to hand a tract to someone when I went for a walk or mail tracts in business reply envelopes.
I went door to door one day and we got to share the Gospel with one young man who said he had never heard the Gospel before.
May has already stated off with an outreach at the Texas Rangers game where 30 of us handed out over 6,000 tracts! My goal is to continue to share the Gospel at least once every day. This month I’d like to engage in more one on one conversations which will require making more effort to stop places on the way to and from work.

April was a busy month! Went to three different conferences, created four new episodes of Witness Radio, taught about World Religions, witnessed on the UC campus, and gave out a bunch of tracts throughout the month. Thank you Lord for giving me another month to serve you and reach out to the lost!
