The Everyday Club Report For The Month Of September

Hi Everyday Club Members,
It’s time to report about how you have done in sharing your faith this past month. We would like to welcome you to the first Everyday Club report on the As You Go blog, where we encourage you to witness “As You Go”. For those of you who have posted on Pastor Steve Sanchez’ blog, we pray that we can be a blessing as well. I found out about the Bezeugen Tract Club through his blog. I have always used tracts, but I started giving out more when I joined the tract club. Pastor Steve’s postings about the use of the million dollar bills and his “E-Vangie Tales” have greatly encouraged me. So, how did you do in September? Did you meet your goals? Did you preach in the open air, go to a big event for tract distribution, or have some great one on ones? Please leave your comment. What a privilege we have to share our faith everyday!

Yours In Christ,
Scott

I had a great month! I probably missed my goals on about 7 or 8 days. My goals are to give out 10 tracts a day and have at least 2 conversations. I had several conversations. I went out with my AYR cross on 5 mornings before work. We went to our local fair on Friday night, giving out about 650-700 tracts. 7 members of the tract club were present for this event. We got to see two atheists who we met at the bar where we witnessed at last month. I also gave out 5 tracts to Spanish men today at Walmart.

Thanks for allowing us to post are efforts in carrying out the command to go out and proclaim the gospel. This month we were up and down. Some days very active and other days not so active in sharing. We had several meaningful conversations at this year’s Fiesta Hermosa at the Hope Chapel booth. There were over 100,000 people for the three day event. We had lots of brothers and sisters help at the booth and it was a joy taking people through the “How intelligent are you test”. We were able to preach 9 times at the local DMV and handed out about 525 tracts and there were about 505 hearers of the gospel. We also handed out tracts at Dodger stadium and at the Hollywood bowl and at the USC football game where we opened aired. My goal is to do something everyday for the gospel. We made 20 days of our goal in September. Praise the Lord.

I really appreciate you taking on the ministry of the Everyday Club. Pastor Steve was such an encouragement to so many. I appreciated being taught by him at the Ambassadors Academy. I was able to pass out tracts and share the gospel with several people over this last month but their were times when I missed as well, so thank you for the accountability and encouragement and for your ministry.

Well didnt get to 30 last month personally, but Praise the Lord there were 2 outreaches where about 50-100 tracts were handed out, along with some open air preaching as well.

September was a great month for me! As always I some how miss a day here or there but overall it was good! Went to a Labor Day Parade at the beginning of the month and handed out about 200 or more million dollar bill gospel tracts in under 10 minutes! I only wished I had more with me! The rest of the month had me going out weekly with my “Are You Ready?/John 3:36/Wrath and Grace” cross and also preaching in the open-air as well by the power of the Holy Spirit!!! I like the theme here about being a witness “As You Go.” That is something I pray that I get better at in the month of October! It is those times of going to and leaving work, or simply just walking some where and handing out a gospel tract that I need to get better at. By the power of the Holy Spirit in the month of October!!

Awesome, Thomas! Thanks for the encouraging report! It sounds like you had a great month. I go out with a cross, also. We look forward to hearing from you next month!

  14. Donna

I just signed up for the Every Day club because I’ve been letting fear stop me from giving out tracts. I need the encouragement and accountability of this group. My goal is to hand out one tract per day and work up from that. I would love to get others in my church interested in witnessing. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the club, Donna! You’re on the right road with a desire to hand out tracts. When I joined the tract club, I was encouraged to give out more tracts. As for getting others interested, share with them your experiences in using tracts and witnessing. Let your burden for the lost be contagious! 11 others in my church are in the tract club. Keep looking for opportunities to witness. They are everywhere!

I was able to meet my commitment to share the Gospel everyday in September. Some days I gave out more tracts that others. Some days it was just a person or two. On one day we did a large outreach at the Dallas Cowboys game where we handed out 15,000 tracts in a few hours.
My goal for October is to share the Gospel at least once every day. Whether that is one on one, handing out a tract, doing an outreach or even sharing the Gospel online like on Facebook!

I had a very good month. I have 2 goals – one is to place or hand out at least 1 tract a day. I missed 2 days. Another goal is to average 5 tracts a day, and I averaged 5.1 – pretty close! I also had several good conversations. Praise the Lord for giving opportunities to tell of His marvelous love and redemption.

    Thank you,

    Tom in Redlands, CA
